The Chicago Tribune's Geneva correspondent interviewed Lord Robert Cecil, who stated America must abandon the idea that the rest of the world is willing to scrap the present League, and , will join with her in organising a new one. "It never will be possible to get togother again forty-two nations to join another League," he added, "and, also there is no reason for such action, since the present organisation can be modified to embrace all the amendments and reservations which the United States demands. Artieilio ten, which created such an uproar in the United States, is innocuous. I have carefully read the M'tifle, which does not guarantee perpetually the frontiers of every conntry as they exist to-day; it provides 1 for changes -nd aHerations by peaceful methods and not by war."—Aus.-N.Z.
