Seven dwellings were visited, with one or more murders in every case, while one of the leading hotels in Dublin was rafifed, and more murders were committed there. A graphic account of the murders reveals that the crimes were the Work of assassins of a particularly cool and desperate type. One report says only one assassin was captured, but other jnessages suggest that three or four of the murderers were arrested.
