THE MAYORALTY.
MR. W. A. COLLIS WITHDRAWS. Owing to continued ill-health Mr. W. A. Collis will not be a candidate for the Mayoralty. Mr. Collis is the senior member of the Borough Council, and at the last meeting of the Council the unanimous wish wan expressed that lie should be a candidate, and he consented to olfor his services. His withdrawal now leaves no announced aspirant for the position, for which nominations close on Tuesday of next week.
