SHIPBUILDING INQUIRY.
ALLEGATIONS OP DUMMY WORK. Sydney, Nov. 18. At the shipping inquiry one of Kidinan and Mayoh's employees, whose Statement that he made dumps which could be used as dummies was submitted yeaterdav, Said he would not necessarily have* used dummies, as they had a legitimate use. He did not intend to allege fraud. The manager of the Cockatoo Dock gave evidence that hogging might be due to other causes than dummy fa 3'en The secretary of the Wharf Carpenters' Union, who was employed in building ships, denied that dummies were Used, stating that if lit saw such a Ithing he would have reported it to the Union.
