Till' POULTRY INDUSTRY. Wellington, Nov. 18. A deputation comprising the executive of the New Zealand Poultry Association waited on the Minister of Agriculture and asked for a more progressive policy reg jnling the poultry industry, which could be made worth 20 millions a year to the country. The number of instructors was quite inadequate, and their status should be raised to that of the inspectors in other branches of the Agricultural Department. The Minister was urged to send the chief poultry expert and a prominent poultry dealer to The Hague Conference in 1921. The question of adulteration in poultry foods was also touched on. The Minister said he would take time : to look into the representations made, ! but the requests would receive liis very I careful consideration.' and his reply would be forwarded later.
