In consequence of the heavy decline in wool values at Monday's gale, and aUo of the fact that there tytd been a big . drop in the Australian valne of sheep* • skins, it was fully expected that there would be a substantial drop Irom com* 1 mandeer values, but even taking then* facts into consideration the prices ob«. tained to-day were, generally speaking, below the expectations of sellers. How* ever, more than three-fourths of the akins offered wore sold.
