.fudging from enquiries (received and Interest evinced by tro geberal public, the forthcoming show of the Stratford A, and P. Society promises to he the most successful in every branch relating to agriculture, industrial, or juvenile competitions yet held by that body of enthusiasts. On looking over the grounds one is struck by the great improver onts that havo been made. The general public and exhibitors may rely on receiving accommoklatlom, whether for live stock or home exlibits, which will compare favorably with any other show in New Zealand. The stewards and chairmen of every section have been appointed, and every man is not only an enthusiast but an expert in the section of which he will be in charge. Although last year the exhibition of Jersey cattle at Stratford was the greater of that breed seen on a show ground In New Zealand, the coming show promises to eclipse it both In numbers and quality. The Friesian breeders are determined not to lose their place in the sun that rules the dairy world and have already notified the secretary of their intention to have such a display of black and white that will do credit to themselves and tte breed they represent. Inhibitors should note that entries close on Saturday, Not. 13.
