POST OFFICE FOR TARIKI.
GOVERNMENT BUYS A SITE. (By Wire.—Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, Last Night. Sir. R. .Masters (Stratford) recently drew the attention of the PostmasterGeneral to the lack of Post Office facilities at Taraki, and he has now received a reply from the Hon. J. G. Coates stating thnt a piece of land with a building opposite the Tariki railway station has been bought by the Government from Mr. John Thirkleson. The question of a Post Office will be considered and when it has been arranged the question of a telephone exchange will bt taken in hand.
