A DROP IN PRICES.
CLOTHES THE FIRST TO DROP. For years past there have been rumors of a drop in the price of clothes. But instead of a Vlrop there has been a decided increase, due chiefly to the rising cost of materials and wages. Now, a substantial drop can be chronicled. It is the result of the enterprise of that progressive firm, the Modern Tailors, Ltd., New Plymouth and Stratford, who have added a new department to their business in order to complete their suit service. This department is to be devoted to turning out made-to-measure .chart suits. "Xo satisfaction, no pay,' is their motto. The prices are low—from :C(i (is to CIO IDs. The prices are cut fine in order to ensure the success of this department. This is the .Modern Tailors' way of gaining a permanent advertisement. The prices don't, allow of a very big margin of prolit, but, (he linn expects to get; the profit on the turnover. Christmas is coming, and the number of suits that, can lie made before then is limited, so get in early. Keep in mind the big range of tweeds, the superior job, and the low price.
