HIGH PRICES FOR LAND.
'£loo AND £l9O AN ACRE. The Mangere property, known as Fairlie, consisting of 74 acres, belonging to the McCrae Kstate, was sold at auction by Messrs. A. Buekland and Sons. Ltd., last week. The area was divided into blocks of IS and 50 acres, and after spirited competition the former was disposed of at £IOO per acre, and the latter at £1(10 per acre. These are stated to be record prices for the district (says the Auckland Herald^.
