The match was keenly contested and a large number of interested onlookers were present at the Kgniont Club rooms on both nights, the hope being expressed that the match would be the forerunner of similar matches. The work of telegraphing the moves at Stratford was carried out by Mr. J. Brookes, senior telegraphist at 11:0 Stratford Post Office, and the players expressed themselves as yery' pleased with his courtesy and consideration to them.
