THE DISLOYALISTS.
THEIR TACTICS DENOUNCED. CLIFTON COUNTY ACTION. The action of certain malcontents throughout the Dominion was referred to at yesterday's meeting of the Clifton County Council, when the following resolution was moved by the chairman (Cr. Pigott):"That this council, having observed with apprehension for some time pan the disloyal expressions and discreditable tactics by sections in and out of Parliament, expresses its abhorrence of such, and pledges support to any organisation for the purpose of upholding law and order and continued loyalty to the Empire." Cr Musker remarked that the discontents claimed to be voicing the opinions of labor The 'hairman said this was the cause of a great deal of the trouble, and he thought if local bodies took the matter U]) it. would have a good effect. Cr. MeKenzie expressed the opinion that the council should take a stand in the matter The resolution wa- seconded by Cr. Jones and carried. A copy is to lie forwarded to the Prime Minister.
