QUESTIONS IN PARLIAMENT.
BY TAKANAKI MEMBERS. Notice of the following questions has been given in Parliament:— Mr. S. Cf. Smith (Taranaki) to ask the Minister of Education, whether, in view of the expressed policy of the Minister of Education that it is desirable to . periodically transfer school inspectors from one education district to another, lie will arrange to make grants to Education Boards to cover the cost of purchasing sites and erecting dwellings for the use, of school inspectors? Mr, Masters (Stratford) to ask the | Minister o£ Agriculture, whether, in view of the statement made by the Prime Minister that the. Government can make arrangements for a, favorable rate of freights with the shipping companies on phosphates from -Nauru to New Zealand, and in view oi' the abnormally high prices ruling at the present lime for manures in tlie Dominion, and, further, in view of the Prime Minister's definite statement that he is met with this very great difficulty that there are not a sufficient number of crushing plants to meet the requirements of the Dominion, he will erect live nee,tesVM!ry and urgently- required plants to be controlled by the State; and, if so, whether he will make provision for one being erected in Tarastka
