HOSPITAL BOARD LEASES. (By Wire.—Parliamentary Reporter.; Wellington, Last Night. The '"Washing-up" Bill authorises the Taranaki Land Boaril to accept the surrender of leases of certain education reserves held by the Taranaki Hospital Board, and to grant a new lease thereof with 11 perpetual right of renewal. Thi» is the land on which the Hospital Board some time ago erected buildings, and « question arose subsequently as to til# tenure of the sections. The .Stratford Bprough ' Council i« authorised to raise a loan of £SOOO for improving the Stratford Domain, sub* ject to the consent of the ratepayers. The Taranaki Church of England Trust Board and the St. Mary's Parochial Trust Board, notwithstanding any trusts that may affect the property of the said boards, may, from time to time, with the consent of the Auckland Diocesan Synod, sell, exchange, or dedicate for any purpose or purposes all or any of the property of the said hoard# upon such terms as may ho deemed expedient.
