ANZACS IN ENGLAND.
EFFORTS TO ESTABLISH A CLUB. London, August 19. The Australian and New Zealand Services' Association in London, which is making an effort to raise £2OOO to establish a club for the use of members of tho Australian a.nd New Zealand Expeditionary Forces who have remained in this country, has so far collected £3OO towards this object. Since, the association came into being 1000 members have been enrolled, and suitable employment has been found for nearly 100 members. A memorial service is also arranged to fallen comrades on the occasion of the anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli. and valuable assistance has been rendered to the organisers of the Anzac Bay Pilgrimage to the graves of comrades buried in England. There still remains in the hands of the Australian Natives' Association the sum of £2OOO collected by Miss Ada Keeve when she was touring in the colonies. The Services Association is now entrusted with the investigation of chums tor monetary, assistance, and the ' Natives' Association honor the recommendations in all cases. In this resp,?:t it may be said that very few New Zealand men have had to make appl'cs- . tion for relief.
