DEATH-BED CONFESSION. _,, London, Oct. 14. The Times correspondent at Paris states that a death-bed confession ha« caused a sensation in Paris, and has resulted in the arrest of two men and two women, who were implicated in a huge robbery of German marks, which were bought by the Government from refugees and Alsatians at the pre-war rate of exchange. A former lover of one of the women was the informant. He said: "I cannct die with a clear conscience unless I tell all. In September, 1919, 3,000,000 marks were stolen from the army post office, and they don't realise it yet." The marks were stored in sacks in the Treasury, and were carried away amone a lot of rubbish.
