By Telegraph.—Press Assn Copyright, London, Oct. 2ii. A brief cabled summary of Air. Theodore's speech at Aiackay created some apprehension among holders, and especially small holders, of Government stock. He said that investors in Queensland securities could rest asured that the Government would honorably meet its obligations. Adelaide, Oct. 27. Mr. McGregor, a woollen manufacturer, who has returned from a trip to the Old World, says that the woo! position in Kiigland is entirely artificial. Mr. McGregor anticipates keen competition, profit cutting, and cheaper clothing. Sydney, Oct. 27. Mr. Storey (Premier) will visit Loudon in February to deal with financial matters.
