Tramway fares will be increased proportionately, with a minimum of 2d for any single section. Received Oct. '27, 1.20 p.m. Sydney, Oct. 2<i. A special conference of the Transport Workers' Federation, attended by interState delegates, is discussing the position caused by the shipowners' refusal to disband the bureaux, but there have been no developments.
