LITTLE HOPE OP REMOVAL. By Telegraph,—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night, Jn the House to-day, the Hon. W. Nosworthy (Minister of Agriculture) read a telegram received by the Minister from Mr. Hughes (Premier of the Australian Commonwealth) which stated that until the expert's report on the potato disease (powdry scab) had been received and considered, there was no hope of the embargo on New Zealand potatoes being lifted at this stage,Mr. NoMvorthy added thrft it looked as if there was little hope of getting our potatoes into Australia at present, as he nnderstW tlle expert'* report was •11 Wed to Australia weeks ago, and even if the embargo was lifted now, it'would be too late to be of any benefit to New Zealand growers this year.
