M. Delacroix states: "Mr. Lloyd George, during the conversations at Spa, told ine that in the event of Germany violating Belgian territory again Britain would once more be found on our side. Mr. Lloyd George was very anxious tliat the Premiers of all the Allies should attend the first meeting of the League of Nations at Geneva on November 15. Received Oct, 25, 8.40 p.m. London, Oct. 25. The Paris correspondent of the Morning Post points out that pnWic opinion is strongly against the French Premier accepting an invitation to Geneva in November unless it is definitely arranged that the vexed question of Germany's admission to the League shall not be raised or the gathering changed into another Versailles Conference.— Aus.-N.Z.
