Venizelos, intervieved, said that an the event of King Alexander's death, his brother Prince Paul was indicated as the constitutional heir to the throne but, owing to the abnormal circumstances, guarantees vere necessary, as it was impossible to admit a mere locum tenens for ex-King Conatantine.
