BRIDES FOR EX-SOLDIERS.
MORE NEW ARRIVALSBy Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The Tainui, which arrived from Southampton on Saturday, brought about 400 immigrants, including 200 girls who have come out to marry exsoldi'ers. The girls are of a particularly fine stamp. Lieut.-Colonel R. H. Coilins, Adjutant-General to the New Zealand forces in 'lOl3-14, arrived by the Tainui, and he will settle in the Dominion.
