BY THYROID GLAND TREATMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—CopyrlcK London, Oct. 20. Miss Connie Edisu,, an actress, is the first prominent person in England to undergo thyroid ghnd treatment. Interviewed, she said she was feeling run her return from Australia. A doctor suggested thyroid. Describing the operation, she said it felt as though a red-hot poker were run under the skin. Later she revived. She felt she must be on the move; she was full of strength and energy. "I scamper over the fields and climb trees like a monkey. I dont feel anything like 50."—Aus.-N.Z.
