•Tournament at hawera. keenax beats bromvyich. (By Our :Special Reporter.) Hawera, Last Night. An Interesting evening's boxing was provided here to-night, when a tournament was held in the Winter Show buildings under the auspices of the Hawera Sports and Pastimes Club. There a large attendance. Seme good boxing was witnessed, though the professional bout was a disappointment, and again demonstrated that youtb will win In tin ring. Keenan proved too superior for Bromwich, whose seconds threw In the towel at the end of the sixth round. The amateur bouts were well contested, the boxing homy clean md willing. Bolh were willing, and rolled it well, but Barnes was better at Infighting, and in the second round downed Cadman twice. Cadman had the better or the fourth, round, driving his opponent to the ropes in a whirlwind effort.
