NORTHERN LEAGUE TOUR. REPLY TO BRITISH CRITICISM. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Oct. 20, 5.5 p.m. Sydney, Oct. 20. Both managers spoke similarly. Mr. McMahon, the referee, denied that the spirit of the rules were ignored, and the matches were played the same as always in Sydney. If the English were barracked they courted it by their continual talk, and their "looking for right."—Aus.-IN.Z. Cable Assn.
