REDS CLAIM VICTORY. By TeleEiaph.—Press Assn—Copyrinht. ' London, Oct. 18. A Moscow wireless message claims that the Reds inflicted a severe defeat on General Wrangel's Second -Army near Nikopol and that the enemy retreated in disorder, the Reds secm-in;; enormous trophies. The Reds also claim that General Wrangel's Smolensk and Alexareff Infantry Regiments have been entirely destroyed and that General Babinoff,' commander of the' Kuban Division, has been killed. The Bolshevik armies also made continuous fierce attacks on the Ukrainian front and sanguinary fighting is in progress at the Bug bridgeheads.
