During a debate on the question of forestalling a rise in the price of vegetables, Air. Storey (Premier), replying to. criticisms, mentioned that, he hi A to obtain permission from Mr. Hughes (Federal Premier) to import New Zealand potatoes because the people here were trying to keep them out.
