The Governor-General has bees advised that the King has been graciouslypleased to make the following appointments to the civil division of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for services rendered in connection with the war: — Third Class (or ''Commander") of the Order (C.B.E.).—James Arthur Frostiek (Christclmrch). ' Fourth Class (or' "Officer") of order 0.8.E. —Howell Young Widdowaon, S.M. (Dunedin); Miss Greta Ewen (Wellington). Fifth Class (or "Member") of order M.B.E. —Charles Frederick Bickford (Auckland), Mrs. Ether Bull (Hunterville), Mrs. Elizabeth Isabel Lo?»U (Hawera).
