SIGNS OF RAPID REVIVAL. By Telegraph.—riess Assn.—Copyright. Received Oct. 14, 8 p.m. London, Oct. 13. The Berlin correspondent of the Daily Chronicle states that German industries are rapidly reviving, despite heavy taxation, extensive costly repairs and renewals to plant. An examination of 150 companies' balance-sheets published in September, dealing with iron, steel, coal, textiles, breweries, paper-making, glass and porcelain, shows that (J8 paid increased dividends compared with 191819, 59 declared similar dividends, 13 decreased, and 10 showed no dividends Aus. and N.Z.
