THE POSITION OP THE AFGHANS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Oct. 14, 5.5 p.m. Delhi, Oct. 13. The Afghan del/gat ion to India has been recalled to Kabul, owing to a reported change in the attitude of the Amir toward* the British Government. The Afghan Minister is proceeding to Tashkent and Mery to meet Djemal Pasha, who is staying at the latter place with a small Turkish and Russian following. The Amir has provided facilities for the reception of the various Bolsheviks who are arriving in Kabul in small batches.—Auf. and N.'Z. Cable Assn.
Delhi, Oct. 13. Indignation has been caused among Moslems in Central Asia by the Bolshevik rutWlessness against tho civil population of Bokhara, who were driven from the city. Refugees arriving at Meshed state that the Bolshevik artillery destroyed the city, which was set on fire in three places. Tho Reds seized the Governor and other officials, whose fate h not known.—Reuter Service.
