BOROUGH COUNCIL NOTICES. NEW PLYMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL. SPECIAL LOAN OF £22,500. New Plymouth Borough Council hereby gives ,'pufalic notice that it proposes to borrow the sum of £22,500 by way of Special Loan under "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913." , The particular purposes for which the Loan is required are: — (a) To take, purchase, acquire, or otherwise provide for the purposes of the Council's Electric Traihway System Rolling Stock Tramcars, Shelter Sheds, lands, buildings, plant machinery, materials, and other things. (b) To construct a triangle or triangles for turning ears. (c) To complete the construction of the permanent wfty of the said Tramway System. (d) For any other purposes incidental or in relation to any of the abovementioned purposes. The sum proposed to be borrowed for fill such purposes is £22,500 at a rate of interest- not, exceeding £5 10s per centum per annum with a sinking fund of onp and one-half per centum per annum additional. The proposed security for the said Joan of £22,500 and the interest and sinking fund thereon is an'annually recurring special rate of two-fifths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the said Borough, iind it is proposed to repay the said loan on the Ist day of April, 1933. It is proposed to pay out of the said loan the cost of raising the said loan and the interest and sinking fund thereon for the first year.
