The Kovno correspondent of The 'Titnei reports that the litest development* indicate that there is a widespread Polish intrigue for the overthrow of the Kovno Government, and a subsequent union with Poland. The military position is disquieting. The Poles hold -Owany, cutting off the main body of the Lithuanian army from thQ'Vibtt sector, while the possibility of thair advance upon Kovno cannot be dhregarded. A wholetale levy of the citizens of Kovno capable of bearing arms is proiMtding., The are preparing a counter-offensive with the object of recapturing Vilna.—Times Service.
