PUBLIC NOTICES. NEW PLYMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER. AMENDMENTS AND ADDITIONS TO JtfOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the New Plymouth Borough Council, held on the 4th day of October, 1920, it was resolved (by way of Special Order) that the New Plymouth Borough Council make additions and amendments to By-law 3 under "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," and under all other powers which enable the said Council to make and amend ByLaws the object and purport of which additiong and amendments are, as follows : BY-LAW 247: Defining "Licensed Motor Omnibus" Bye-Laws 309 and 310 to apply to Motor Omnibuses, By-Law 325 to apply to Motor Car or Motor Omnibus, and providing for licensing of stage carriages plying to any place beyond the Borough. ByLaws 356, 357, 359, 3f13, 364, 365, 368 and 367 by adding words referring to Motor Omnibuses. ; Second Schedule to Part C by increasing the license fee payable for a stage carriage and motor car license and affecting the lic- [ ensing of certain vehicles when I plying between places within and without the Borough and prescribing the license fees for Motor Omnibuses. By-Law 611, by deleting sub-ckvu3es (2), (3) and (10), and substituting a provision for preventing the erection of a of a dwelling bouse or 20 feet of a street or boundary of adjoining premises. By-Law (612 A): New By-Law requiring all buildings used as stables after 31st March, 1921, to have , floors, etc., constructed in accordance with By-Law 611 (5) or By-Law 011 (0). By-Law 804: By substituting a new By-Law providing for connections from the sewer main to the boundarj of property being done by th( Council at the expense of tin owner, who is to pay in respect of jjiime the amount fixed by the Council. By-Law 1330: By sub stituting a new By-Law provid ing the sizns of communicatioi pipes and laying of same at thi cost of the consumer. By-Lav 1333: To apply to streets witl mains of less than 3 inches 1333 A: New By-Law to provid , for a refund of part of the cos • of laying a water main or com munication pipes in certaii ■ cases. By-Law 1039: By sub ing for the prevention of nuisan ces caused by keeping horses o cattle on land of less area tha: 1 rood, or in any stable, an providing for the keeping and re moval of soil, dung, and othe manure produced or accumulate thereon or therein. 1039: By-Law, authorising the Coun cil to require the owner or oo cupier of land of less area tlia 1 rood whereon any horse o other beast of draught or burdc is kept or permitted to be, t construct an impervious concret or asphalt covering over sue land, and to provide proper fall ■to channels connected with th sewera. The said resolution will be submitted for confirmation to a speeial meeting of the Council, to he held at the Council Chambers in Liardet Street, in the Town of New Plymouth, on' Monday, the Ist day of November, 1020, at 7.30 o'clock p.m., at which meeting the day of the coming into force of the said additions and amendments to By-Laws will -bo fixed. A copy of the said Specif Order ami additions and amendments to Bye-Laws is deposited at the office of the Council in Liardet Street aforesaid, where the same will be open for public inspection during office hours*until the said confirming meeting is held.
