NEW LABOR CRISIS.
THREAT TO AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph.—Press AJsn.—Copyrleht. Received Oct. 11, 11 p.m. Sydney, Oct. 11. The Transporters' Federation ia convening a conference of all unions in the Federation, stating that the reply received from Mr. Hughes in connection ivith tlio request for the abolition of the lahor bureau on the waterfront was unsatisfactory, and the only course open to the executive was to carry out the mandate of the Federation, as all efforts to avert a crisis were uno-vaHing. The movement ia directed more against oversea lines than coastal, though, in the event of trouble, all services, including coal mines, may be affected.—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assh.
