By Telegraph.—Press Assn Copyrlflit. Portugal is now calm, and the railways are resuming running. Rome, reports that a general slump in securities followed the decision of the Fiat Company to close its workshops on the grounds that the present scheme of working is impossible- The decision was reflected in the money market, and the lira is now quoted at ninety per pound sterling, compared with thirtylive a year ago.
