SALE OF NEW CHEESE.
| THROUGH PRODUCERS' CO-OP, TARIKI AMONGST FACTORIES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedih, Last Night. Advice received by Mr. B. G. Lamb, secretary of the South "Island Dairy Association, states that 11 of the factories in the Wellington district and ono in Taranaki (with an output of 500 tons), have so far decided to consign their outputs of cheese to the New Zealand Producers' Co-operative Association. The factories are: Belvedere, Parkvale, Carrington, Tauatohi, Papatawa, Tarawa, H'opelands, Riverbank, United, Newman, Ivuku, and Tariki. As showing the money value of the business these factories alone have credits with t.lie Bank of New Zealand amounting to a minimum of £37,000 a month. A considerable number of factories in the 'North Island have not yet come to a decision whether they will consign to the New Zealand Co-opera-tive Producers' Association or sell outright.
Mr. Lamb says that so far as the South Island is concerned, he will be able to consign approximately 4000 tons this season to the Producers' Association, and there is a possibility that this amount will be increased. Letters of credit have been established with Dunedin banks to meet the payments on this 4000 tons.
