~ DOMINION CONFERENCE. By Telegraph— PW Association. Auckland, Last Night. The thirty-eighth 'annual conference of the Baptist "Union of New Zealand opened to-day, delegates being present from all over the Dominion. The Rev. S. W. Jenkin, of Wanganui, is president, and the Rev. H. E. Edridge, of Hastings, vicepresident, the duties of general secretary and treasurer being allotted to the Rev. R. S. Gray, of Wellington. The- delegates were entertafrsd at a welcome tea last evening. The Union Executive met yesterday, also the Constitution Revision Committee, the Board of Advice, the Introduction Annuity Fund Committee, tlio Sustention Fund Committee, and tho Missionary Executive. This morning secretaries and auxiliary reports were presented _ and discussed. This evening the president delivered an address at a public meeting.
