FACTORY PAY-OUTS.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—l shall thank you to ■publish a few figures ou the great question of pay-out at the different factories in New Zealand for the last season. On present prices a dairy farmer iv New Zealand milking say 33 cows could make from £3O to £3D per annum by raising Ills test 1 point, if you capitalise them he could spend £SOO per anum on a bull or cows, and still be In pocket. I have summarised a few of the principal factories on the 10001b of milk basis, will: the following results:—North Taianaki, pay out 2s 2.25 d, test 4.1, per thousand lbs milk £4 lis lOJid; Bell Block, Is 11.6 d, 4.39, £4 5s OVfert; Toko, 2s 0-25 d, 4.2, £4 4s lOi/sd; Hillsborough, 13 ll.dd, 4.24, £4 3s 4d; White Cliffs, Is 10.5 d, 4.32, £4 2s l>i.d; Tariki, Is 1(1.2nd, 4.38, £4 J s 2d. Under 4.0 tost: Druramond 2s Id, 3.33, £3 9s Od; Meremore, Is 11.25, 3.7, £3 Hs'Od; Taratahi, Is. 11.75(3, 3.74, £3 14s; Okaino, 2s 1.4 d; 3.52, £3 14s Oil; Eltham, 2s 0.6 d, 3.51, £3 His 4d; Kaupokonul, 2s,

3.56, £3 17s 2d; Rlvcrdale, 2s l.ld, 3.79, £3 lis 3d; Ngair'e, 2s 2d, 3.88, £4 4s. In'conclusion, I should like to mention -that the highest pay-ouc was £1 Os 5d above the lowest.
