EACH PLAINTIFF GETS £IOO. By Telegraph .—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The case in which Henry Green and John Meikle, watersiders, sued the New Zealand Waterside Workers' Federation, James Roberts (the secretary), and also the Maoriland Worker Printing and Publishing Company for £IOOO damages each for alleged libel, was concluded today. The jury awarded each plaintiff £IOO damages. His Honor, in summing up, said the case was one of great importance to unions and workers.
