' The loading of the Port Pirle Is proceeding satisfactorily. The Wetere brought two barge loads of meat from Waltara on Sunday and they were transhipped yesterday. Another barge arrived yesterday at 3.30 p.m. With to-day's quota is is hoped to have ftntsred the loading of ilie meat, about 1011,000 freight carcases In all. The cheese (12,000 crates) should be finished to-morrow. After that the vessel will discharge 800 tons of coal for the Railway Department. It is not expected that the Port Pirle will be ready to sail for Londor, via Australia, till Saturday or Sunday morning. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa crossed the Manukau Bar at 5.10 p.m. yesterday, and should arrive here early this morning. She will return north at 8.20 this evening. , CORINNA DUE FRIDAY. The Corlnna was scheduled to leave Timaru yeiterday for New Plymouth via ports. She is bringing about. 900 tons of general cargo, Mi 4 is due hero on Friday. TIIE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond arrived ,it Wellington early ymterday morning from fireymouth and Westpoc't with timber and general cargo. the vessel, after discharge, will load for New Plymouth, Westport, and Greymouth. THE MO-ERAKI. The Union Company's inter-state passenger steamer Moeraki, from Sydney, arrived at Uullingioi' last night. MARAMA ARRIVES TO-DAY. According to a wireless message received from the R.M.S. Marama, en route from San Francisco via Papeete and Rarotonga, she will arrive in tho stream at Wellington at about noon to-day. The vessel is timed to sail from Wellington on the next trip to 9it! Francisco via ports on the 12th inst. TAINUI LEFT PANAMA. Cable advice has been received by the Shaw, Snrill and Albion Company that the liner Tainul left Panama on September 30th for Auckland and Wellington, en route from London and Southampton . Tho vessel is due at Auckland on October 21st, and at Wellington' about October 28th. THE PORT VICTOR. The C. and D Line advise tkat the Port VJctor is due at Auckland next Saturday from West of England ports. She is expected at Wellington a week lacer. - WITHIN RANGE.
