An outbreak of riots anil strikes is reported in Petrograd, Tamboo, Narva, and other parts of Russia, owing to the food shortage and war weariness. There were many street conflicts, in which, it is reported, several Soviet commissairea were shot and beaten to death. Signs of the revolt appeared among t"ie armies on the western front. It is reported that twelve committeemen, who were sent to Moscow from the fighting front demanding peace, were execute! It is rumored that Trotsky was wounded.—Aus.-N Z. Cable Assn.
