The Waiwakaiho Bull Fair is now a prominent animal fixture in North Taranaki. This year's offering of bulls is quite up to the quality of those offered in previous years, so on Friday, Bth inst., dairymen who are not yet suited with a, herd sire for the coming season will have 100 bulls to select from. At Newton King, L'td.'s, annual sala of pedigree Jerseys on 7th October, Mr. V. H. E. Surrey is disposing of his entire stud, totalling 20 head. Mr. Surrey has been a prominent breeder of Jerseys during the past 25 years, and is widely known as possessing cattle bred on most fashionable lines, and possessing wonderful butter-fat producing capabilities.
