"But now he hath promised, laying Tet once more I shake not the ear& .only, but also Heaven. The waning unrest which is prevalent-through* out the whole, world u, we believe, tw shaking which is here referred to. Ok every hand we hear the cry, "Wanted. a Super-man"—one who will hwq and-chief of the troubled who can hold the reins of GoverntneHfl in a firm grasp and keep thing* in ordefl and submission. Those of ur who be* lieve in our Bibles know that such A VB4 will arise in response to the universal demand. And it will not be the King cf Kings. His time to reign As Prince) of Peace on this earth will surely COT*, but not yet. In St. John 5, 43, w* read: "I am come in My Father's) Name, and ye receive Me not} if another shall come in his own name, Mia ye will receive." Who is this ''otae/* who shall come in his own namef ? Sorely it is the anti-Christ, the Second Jits* siah, the Star of the East, the Greatl Teacher for whom the world 1 Is alreadycrying out. And a super-man he will truly be, for Satan will give "hin» power and his seat and great author*. ity." But those who know their' Qodl and His Word are exhorted, "Wherefora Wc receiving a kingdom which cannot bej moved, let us have grace, wlierebyVwel may serve God acceptably with rever* ence and godly fear.—Hebrews 12, 88k
