THE WAVE IN AMERICA, CONSUMERS BENEFIT. Br Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright, Received Oct. 1, 9.55 p.m. Washington, Oct. 1. The Federal Reserve Board says that price-cutting has taken such a hold on wholesalers that substantial benefits to consumers will be felt early. The great wave is due to more exacting demands by the public as to the price and qualify of articles. Increased efficiency of labor k noted, with greater production, and factory operations are approaching .normal. The Board finds business conditions to be definitely on the road 1 to a con"dition of stability of as great and conconfirmed a nature as- the disturbed conditions permit —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
