At the meeting of the West End School Committee last night, the resignation of Mr. W W. Thomson, chairman of the committee, who has removed to the Inglewood district, was accepted with regret. It was resolved to record the committee's appreciation of his valuable services. Mr. J. S. S. Medley was elected chairman.
