Present Indications aro for southerly winds, strong and boisterous, northward of Farewell Spit and Kaikoura, and cold, cloudy, and unsettled weather generally. Rain may be expected in many parts, and heavy rain and flooded rivers iu the East Coast districts of the North Island. The barometer is unsteady, with a falling tendency.
