LADIES' MATCH, On Saturday, Hawera ladles met a team from Wanganul Girls' College. The Hawera ladies secured a goal early in the gaune, M-'as V. Cumming taking advantage of a good opportunity. In the second spell, Milss V. -Tohna scored for Wanganui, wfco had several chances, but only found the net on one occasion. Hawera later scored their winning stroke by a good effort by the forwards, says the Star.
