In an address before the Advertising Convention in Australia, Mr, E. W. H. Fowles, M.L.C., of Brisbane, said that in 1-9XO £50,000,000 was spent on advertising in the United Kingdom; last year it amounted to £130,000,000. One firm alone had spent £200,000 * year.
