ON THE INDIAN BORDER.

ACTION AGAINST BOLSHEVIKS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Delhi, Sept. 23. On receiving a report that the Emii of Bokhara had taken refuge in Sha.lirisaiz, Red troops marched from Bokhara and surrounded the city. No resistance was made, and the town was finally entered by the Bolsheviks, who, on a plea of making a search for th? Emir, looted houses and wrought great havoc, burning what they were unable to carry away. These events have finally induced the Afghan Government to take action against the Bolsheviks. At Kabul, many arrests are being made. All officials have been warned to arrest anyone against whom there is the slightest suspicion of being a Bolshevik.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
