BILLIARDS.
CLUBS' TOURNAMENT. In the Taranaki Affiliated Club's billiard and snooker tournament, the South Taranaki Club (Hawera) met the Egmont Club at Hawera last night. Results were as follows, South Taranaki being mentioned first in each case:— Billiards.—J. Bowen (147) lost to T. E. Bridger (200); A. Shaw (150) lost to P. G. Brooking (200); P. Pratt (186) lost to H. Chadwlck (200); W. loherwood (13") lost to R. O. Hignett (200). Snooker.—A. P. Peters (69) lost to J. Sullivan (144); O. Luscombe. (71) lost to T. Lawson (104); A. Hodge (84) lost to J. Petrie (10T).
